An international bank based in London seek an experienced Credit Risk professional to support their corporate banking division in a 2LoD function, with a broad remit spanning various sectors and lending products.
Responsibilities:
- Thorough analysis and assessment of credit applications submitted by various front office departments
- Prepare detailed credit reports related to credit applications, expanding on relevant attributes
- Present and discuss credit reports at credit committee meetings
- Oversee the full credit approval process and support front office by providing suitable guidance
- Confirm of compliance with bank risk appetite, policy and related regulatory requirements
- Monitor a wide range of related risks that could potentially affect borrowers
- Support the launch and development of any projects related to the department
- Liaise with relevant internal and external counterparties where required
- Help guide and mentor junior members of the team
