The Senior Credit Analyst - Corporate position within the Credit Management department serves as a critical component of the second line of defence (2LoD) credit function. The role involves preparing risk assessment reports and credit recommendations to support existing and new business. Responsibilities include completing credit risk applications, proactively monitoring customer portfolios, and identifying early credit concerns.

Assess business proposals from front office teams, conducting research and evaluating counterparty management, industry and transaction risks, financial accounts, cash flows, and forecasts to produce detailed credit reports.

Prepare and update credit applications, including waiver requests, limit renewals, and proposals for new transactions.

Present credit report summaries at Credit Committee meetings, addressing questions from committee members.

Support 1LoD in defining business strategies and onboarding new Financial Institutions (FI) and Corporate clients.

Monitor risk situations for borrowers in an allocated portfolio and track industry-specific risks where assigned.

Develop and maintain financial models to monitor credit and market signals.

Ensure compliance with departmental procedure manuals.

Manage the CCMS approval process from start to finish, coordinating with front office teams to meet timelines and expectations.
