Job Description

A global player in the Escrow, Corporate Trust and Payment Services market is looking to hire an M&A Relationship Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will manage a variety of M&A deals, primarily focusing on Escrow and Paying Agent transactions. You’ll play a key part in driving deals from signing through to completion and termination while working closely with internal and external legal teams, shareholders, and deal parties.

Responsibilities:

  •  Review and coordinate Escrow and Paying Agent documents with internal and external legal teams, preparing fee letters using template documents.
  • Manage deals from signing through to completion and termination, ensuring compliance with internal systems and records.
  • Operate client portals and internal systems for managing M&A transactions, handling multiple queries from deal parties and shareholders while providing timely, high-quality client service.
  • Liaise with legal counsel and communicate effectively with shareholders, ensuring smooth, ongoing communication.
  • Oversee general deal maintenance, manage billing processes, follow up on debtors, and handle ad hoc requests as needed.
  • Perform audits and assist with compliance tasks, including managing the Insider List and reconciling accounts across multiple systems, approving daily cash balance reports.
  • Participate in various projects, collaborating closely with the Product Leader and Client Administrator, and complete any additional tasks assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of M&A Paying Agent processes and Escrow Agreements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • A strong work ethic with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, fast-paced team.
