A London based specialist direct lender (Real Estate and Commercial Finance) is looking to hire an Operational Risk professional. This is a standalone role that will report directly into the CRO.
The role will involve:
- Acting as the sole 2LOD Operational Risk function
- Ownership and oversight of the RCSA framework
- KRI monitoring, risk reporting and governance MI
- Oversight of operational risk events and incident management
- Independent challenge and support to 1st Line business units
- Engagement with senior stakeholders and Risk Committees
The ideal profile:
- 2LOD Operational Risk experience within a corporate/commercial lending environment.
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a lean, growing business.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and pragmatic approach.
This role is offered initially as a 12-month fixed-term contract with a view to go permanent, subject to internal developments.
