Credit Portfolio Manager position with a global bank in London. This role will be pivotal in establishing and enforcing credit policies and procedures, monitoring the bank's loan asset portfolio to manage and mitigate credit risks, and ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of essential reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and periodic review of credit policies and procedures.
- Generate critical credit portfolio reports for Head Office and various management committees.
- Oversee post-lending activities, including performance monitoring and periodic credit risk reviews.
- Identify EWIs in the loan portfolio, and conduct sector, product, and customer analyses for credit review.
- Manage watch list and Non-Performing Loan processes from a second-line defense perspective.
- Provide expert credit risk analysis to support decision-making by senior management.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant experience in credit portfolio management and policy development.
- Deep familiarity with regulatory policies and bank management requirements.
- Strong skills in financial modelling and data processing.
- Excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills.
