A global bank is looking to hire a Credit Analyst who will manage a portfolio of Project and Infrastructure Finance loans, focusing on evaluating and managing credit risks associated with large ticket lending.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough credit risk evaluations for project and infrastructure finance, including assessing project viability and financial stability.
- Prepare and present comprehensive credit reports and risk assessments to the Credit Committee.
- Oversee and manage the portfolio of project finance loans, ensuring compliance with bank standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review and analyse loan documentation, ensuring all legal and financial aspects are in line with project objectives and risk parameters.
- Engage in the structuring and negotiation of project finance deals, including terms, covenants, and conditions.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to monitor project progress and financial performance, adjusting risk assessments as necessary.
- Provide expert advice on project finance structures and risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in project and infrastructure financing to inform risk management strategies.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a Project Finance, Infrastructure Finance or comparable structured lending area.
- An understanding of Project/Infrastructure Finance loan documentation.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills (credit analysis, modelling).
- Strong communication and modelling skills.
