Job Description

Our client an international bank seeks a manager for their Birmingham branch to manage a small team.  The role will involve you expanding the branches current offering including lending, trade services, deposits and other services.

Main responsibilities:               

  • Oversee and approve the opening of new account in line with the banks policies and procedures.
  • Manage and expand the current portfolio relating to deposits.
  • Prepare credit applications for approval.
  • Maintain and establish relationships for SME clients
  • Oversee the running on the branch in its entirety.
  • Provide efficient, friendly and professional service at all times
  • Prepare detailed month end reviews.
  • Push the branches offering to ensure targets are met.


  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in retails banking
  • Degree/ MBA desirable
  • Urdu/Punjabi would be advantageous
