This role supports Relationship Managers in servicing a portfolio of large corporate clients, with opportunities to develop skills and progress into a full Relationship Manager position. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience with credit analysis, client relationship management, and transaction execution, contributing to the continued growth of the large corporate banking division.
Responsibilities
- Assist Relationship Managers with client-related administrative tasks for existing and prospective clients.
- Contribute to the preparation of transaction proposals, credit papers, and annual reviews.
- Support pre- and post-lending activities, including transaction execution, drawdowns, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Credit Risk, Legal, and Compliance, to ensure robust client support.
- Conduct analysis to identify and mitigate credit risks, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and policies.
- Assist in the client due diligence process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support the origination and execution of syndicated loans, including primary and secondary participations.
- Develop an understanding of ancillary products to enhance client relationships and income generation.
- Act as a point of contact for clients and internal teams in the absence of Relationship Managers.
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in banking, in a front-office, client management, or credit-focused role.
- Knowledge of financial analysis and credit assessment.
- Mandarin language skills (written and verbal) are essential for this role.
