Job Description

Our Client a boutique Chinese investment company based in West London seek to recruit a HR Manager.

 Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and processes aligned with group business strategy
  • Managing employee relations, including managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances and sickness
  • Ensuring all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current UK employment law
  • Liaising with colleagues in China to implement group wide compliance
  • Ensuring line managers are up to date with changes to any policies
  • Measuring employee satisfaction and identifying areas that require improvement and training
  • Performance management and reward advice
  • Learning and development: providing guidance on development for managers and their teams
  • Recruitment and retention: managing talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns
  • Managing work permit sponsored employees under the guidance of legal experts

     Key Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or possession of an equivalent relevant HR or Business qualification
  • Previous experience in a HR background
  • Excellent active communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law
  • A good grasp of Mandarin Chinese and sensitive to the Chinese culture preferred
